Accessibility

At Kaivopuisto Blues, we want to make the festival as accessible as possible so that everyone has the opportunity to attend. We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of the event.

Festival area

The festival area is accessible, but the site is not fully accessible. Most of the festival area consists of grass that is relatively easy to navigate. However, there are also some hills, which may make moving around more challenging in certain areas. The hills can be avoided by taking alternative routes.

There will also be designated seating areas, which will be clearly marked on the festival map.

Personal Assistans

The assistant can attend the event free of charge with the person they are assisting who has purchased a ticket. Personal assistants will not receive a separate wristband and must enter and remain within the festival area together with the person they are assisting each day. Please bring proof of the need for an assistant.

Viewing Platforms

A viewing platform is located near the main stage. There are also a limited number of chairs available in the festival area.

A personal assistant or friend may accompany the person they assist onto the platform. However, if the platform becomes crowded, we ask that space to be prioritised for those who need it the most.

Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are available in every toilet area.

Obstacles

Kaivopuisto Blues is not a fully accessible event. The festival can be busy, and certain areas may become crowded at times. This may result in queues and waiting.

We are committed to improving the accessibility of the event, but we cannot guarantee individually tailored accessibility services for visitors.

If you have any questions about accessibility or would like to share suggestions for improvement, please contact us at info@loudnlive.fi.

Tickets and Wristbands

Wristband exchange and opening hours

The location and opening hours of the wristband exchange will be announced closer to the event.

Your wristband will be put directly to your wrist when you collect it. This means you cannot exchange someone else’s ticket for a wristband on their behalf.

Can I leave the festival area and re-enter during th day?

You can leave and re-enter the festival area freely with your wristband. All ticket types must be exchanged for a wristband or a wristband and pass before entering the festival area.

Who can exchange a ticket for a wristband?

The purchaser’s name is printed on the ticket, but names are not checked during wristband exchange. You can therefore buy a ticket as a gift for someone else, for example.

Can I sell my ticket to someone else?

Yes. If you have purchased a ticket but are unable to attend, you can try to sell it to another person. Tickets purchased through Tiketti can be resold securely via the LiputOn service, which allows ticket authenticity to be verified. We are not responsible for the validity of tickets purchased from third parties.

The event organiser also does not handle issues relating to tickets purchased from third parties or cases of ticket fraud. If you suspect fraud, please contact the police directly and file a police report.

Please note that wristbands that have already been collected cannot be resold.

Can I get a refund if an artist cancels their performance?

At a festival event, both the organiser and the audience should consider that changes are possible. This could, for example, be a popular artist cancelling their appearance due to unforeseen difficulties not related to the festival organiser. Kaivopuisto Blues features multiple performers. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds or reimbursements for the ticket price if an individual artist cancels their performance. This policy is also common at other festivals.
